Our Story
Dr. Cesare is a graduate of Columbia University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. She has recently published her obstetrics research on the prevalence and reporting of lower back pain in pregnancy in the Journal of Women’s Health Physical Therapy.
Her clinical experience includes women’s and men’s pelvic health, obstetrics, general orthopedics, GI, sports, acute and inpatient rehab, neonatal and adult ICU, wound care, and stroke rehab. She has also worked as a track and field coach, high school weightlifting coach, ski team coach, ski and snowboard instructor, personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and has provided pro bono physical therapy services internationally.
Dr. Cesare combines her sports and coaching history with her passion for women’s and pelvic health to provide high-quality education and personal training for people of all fitness levels. A long-term goal of hers is to elevate maternal healthcare standards and increase awareness of pelvic health, both domestically and internationally.
Out of the office, she is either trail running, skiing, marathon training, painting, or singing. She loves to spend time with her family and yellow lab puppy. Dr. Cesare finds joy in traveling and experiencing new cultures (pictured in northern India on a Himalayan Health Exchange trip).
